a large, bulky chuck
This is one of those “why didn’t someone
think of this sooner” items. It works just
like a router collet. The chuck slides neatly
through your lathe headstock. Then in-
sert your tenon into the collet and secure
with the lock knob. As you tighten the
lock knob it draws the collet into the head
stock of your lathe which makes the grip
on the tenon secure. This makes it perfect
for turning smaller projects like tops and
even bottle stoppers with tenons on the
end. Available in 1/2" and 3/8" collet sizes
and works with lathes with a MT -2 taper.
Drill a perfectly centered hole in your blank on your
lathe using this unique lathe chuck. The chuck in-
cludes two 2" jaws that will hold your blanks perfectly
centered at the headstock. Mount a drill chuck with
your drill bit into your tailstock and advance the drill
into your blank as it spins on your lathe. Accommo-
dates blanks up to 1" Square with no "travel" limita-
tions of a drill press quill. Jaws are 2" long, Chuck has
a 1" x 8tpi thread, 2-1/2" diameter, weighs only 1.2 lb,
operated by 2 tommy bars (included).

The Lathe Center Set consists of replacement centers
for lathes with a Morse Taper headstock and tailstock.
The set includes four of themost commonly used cen-
ters: 1 ea. Live ball bearing tailstock center with cup
and point, 1 ea. 5/8” dia. headstock spur center, 1 ea.,
1”dia headstock spur center and 1 ea. Hollow center.
The Patriot Drive Center is a simple but highly effec-
tive four-prong drive which fits directly into the jaws
of the Patriot chuck. Also available is the 7/8” Steb
Drive. The Steb Drive conveniently fits in the jaws of
a Patriot chuck. Its serrated teeth and spring-loaded
center pin create an unparalleled grip on wood.
These centers are larger than typical centers and have
a 60 degree point. On the inside the centers have
precision ball bearings for smooth continuous use on
your lathe.These live centers are ideal to support work
at the tailstock end of your lathe.

ONEWAY Live Centers were designed specifically for
the woodturner with accessories included to suit
most applications. They have a threaded rotating cup
center. This cup center is the only component which
rotates. This feature contributes to a safer working en-
vironment. The unique threaded cup center gives sev-
eral advantages to the woodturner. First, the Full Point
and Reversible Bull Nose Cones can be easily attached
and removed. Second, if turning outside the capacity
of the provided cone, a user specific support can be
made by drilling a hole in a blank, attaching it to the
Live Center and turning it to suit your requirements.
Two good quality bearings mounted in tandem and
greased for life will give good play free performance
and minimum vibration when turning. The body is
precision machined from premium alloy steel then
heat treated, ground and electroless nickel plated.
These processes give strength, accuracy and rust pro-
tection. The core is also made fromhigh strength steel
then heat treated and ground.
