Dial-A-Width Dado
Freud’s Dial-A-Width Dado Set is a stacked dado set,
but the shims have been replaced with a patented
dial system, which allows users to adjust the width of
cut via a dial hub capable of micro adjustments. Each
“click” of the dial adjusts the blade by .004”; with an
adjustable width range of just under ¼”to 29/32”. This
dado is the only dado available that cut's true 1/4" ply-
wood dadoes. It comes with 5 chippers (4 at 1/8”and 1
at 3/32”).When combined with the 3/32”chippers, the
hub ensures a super precise fit-even on undersized
plywood. The carbide is designed and manufactured
specifically by Freud for splinter-free, flat bottom
grooves in a variety of stock.

Super Dado
The SD500 Series dadoes are the first dadoes to in-
clude a 3/32” thick chipper. This allows the cut width
to be adjusted in 1/32” increments and doubles the
number of slot widths available. Many plywoods are
being manufactured 1/32”undersized from the nomi-
nal size and this allows you to cut dadoes that will fit
these materials with less shimming. We have also in-
cluded a 6pc shim.

using a Dado Set or saw blade. The SBOX8 Box Joint
Cutter Set makes box joint construction easy, produc-
ing, strong, accurate joints without shims or awkward
adjustments. This patent-pending innovation enables
users to produce perfectly square, precise box joints
