Sovereign Ultima Hollowing System

Available in two sizes the Sovereign Ultima Hollowing System en-
ables woodturners to produce hollow forms up to 11” (275mm)
with the small version and up to 16”(400mm) with themedium in
bothwet and dry woods. It has a cutter system that slices through
the wood rather than scraping and the clever design allows the
shavings to clear without clogging. It is equally effective on
bowl grain work as well as end-grain projects. The cutter is able
to make light or heavy cuts and the unique micro adjust feature
enables the turner to set the cutter depth with ease. As only one
third of the cutter is exposed at any time it can be rotated twice
through 120 degrees before it needs to be re-sharpened.

the Multi Tip Hollowing Tool and the Hollowmaster. The Multi Tip Hollowing Tool
(RS200KT) is our recommendation for those who wish to take their first steps in hol-
lowing and those working on projects of 6”and under. It is one of the most versatile
tools available. The ¾ flat surface is in permanent contact with the tool rest which
minimizes the impact of rotational forces. Features two hollowing tips fitted to a
swiveling clamp. Swiveling clamp allows for straight hollowing and undercutting
under a rim. Scraper has 3 different working faces: round scraper, half-round scrap-
er and a square scraper. Scraper can be used on half-round shank for shear scraping.

The Sandmaster is used in conjunction with a lathe to put a fine finish on turned
pieces. It eliminates the unsightly lines associated with hand sanding. As the disc is
spinning it reduces clogging. The Sandmaster comes complete with a velcro cov-
ered 2” sponge pad which allows for the easy changing of abrasive discs. A variety
of grits - from 60 - 400 - of aluminium oxide disc can then be quickly attached. In-
cludes the Sandmaster and 2 ea. of 60, 120, 180, 240 and 150 grit 2”sanding discs.
