Made with Hardened M2 Steel and ground to a super fine point for long life & performance. The Micro Detailer is not to be used as a parting tool or asany other type of material removal. It is designed to be used a detailing tool only for accenting your turning project. The Micro Detailer is used to cut extra fine lines up to 1/8" deep into your project with super fine point.

The round carbide and 2" radius Carbide cutters are able to be rotated when they become dull to to give you a quick sharp edge for turning with out having to stop and sharpen your edge. When all edges have been used up simply replace it with a new cutter. The carbide cutters stay sharper than steel for a longer period of time.

This set includes 3 essential tools, the 2" radius carbide tool is a square shape cutter with a 2" radius for convex or flat areas, the round Carbide is for producing smooth finish & general purpose turning, and the carbide parting tool is used for grooves & tight profiles. The overall tool length is approximately 9-1/2" and the tool shaft is approximately 3" in length. Each handle is approximately 6-1/2" in length and designed with a comfort grip that has molded rubber for easy grip and less fatigue while turning.

Micro Spiralling Tool

With surface decoration and small intricate work being ever more popular this new Spiralling tool covers all options.

Like the existing Robert Sorby Spiralling System, this tool incorporates a tool rest to ensure the correct angle is maintained when producing fine delicate spirals. The system comprises of an aluminum handle, micro spiralling head (shaft and tool rest), two micro spiral cutters (fine and medium), Allen key and an instruction leaflet.

In addition, there is a Optional texturing cutter for those wishing to decorate miniature projects.
