TURNMASTER HEAD

A replacement cutter head for Sorby's versatile TurnMaster Tool. Makes switching from one cutter type to another much faster and easier than changing the cutter alone.

Works with any of Sorby's handled or un-handled TurnMaster shanks and will accept any of the specially configured TurnMaster cutters.

TurnMaster Tip Holder

This handy little sharpening accessory allows you to hold comfortably nearly every TurnMaster tip without fear of catching the cutting tip or even more importantly, your finger in a sharpening belt or grinding wheel.

Holder is just over 5-1/2" long.

The Holder has a narrow tip with a fastening screw that will hold your cutter at any angle so you can grind safely. The tip of the holder is narrow, so as not to get in the way.

TurnMaster Pack of Four High Speed Steel Cutters

A pack of four high speed steel cutters. The pack contains a French Curve, perfect for shear scraping inside forms such as egg cups and goblets, a Teardrop, a popular cutter choice ideal for a range of finishing sweeping cuts inside or outside forms, a Mushroom cutter, great for undercutting and Dovetail or box scraper, an model choice for creating parallel side walls and 90 degree corners in boxes.

Sharpening:
Use a diamond file or honing stone across the top face. To gain best results and increase the longevity of the cutter this simple procedure should be done little and often. Use the TurnMaster cutter holder to reshape the profile on the Robert Sorby ProEdge using a zirconium or ceramic belt, or on a grinding wheel using a standard abrasive material. Sharpens to: 0.2 -0.4 microns Hardness: 62 RC Material: M2 HSS
