The patent pending, Made in the USA MultiRest™ is compatible with lathe swing sizes from mini up to 20” with no additional hardware required. The base of the MultiRest has independently adjustable spacer blocks that provide a secure fit on lathe beds with way sizes from 1” to 4.5” in width. Each roller wheel assembly can be positioned anywhere around the ring to adjust the center position for a wide range of lathe sizes and part diameters.

The base of the MultiRest has independently adjustable spacer blocks that provide a secure fit on lathe beds with way sizes from 1” to 4.5” in width. Each roller wheel assembly can be positioned anywhere around the ring to adjust the center position for a wide range of lathe sizes and part diameters.

Unique 2-piece Design

The unique 2-piece design allows the MultiRest to be quickly opened while leaving the mounting base of the MultiRest still firmly attached to the lathe bed. This provides easy access when mounting or demounting parts or for sanding, shaping and other secondary operations. In addition, when separating the larger ring section from the MultiRest the remaining smaller section becomes a bowl rest, providing solid support behind the work piece yet fully exposing the opposite side of the piece for exterior cutting operations.

Laser Cut Steel and Aircraft Grade Aluminum Components

The device’s multi-ring structure creates great rigidity while keeping the tool’s weight to half that of a comparable full steel rest. High strength, laser cut steel and aircraft grade aluminum components assure the ultimate in strength and durability.

Exceptional Support While Being Gentle On the Workpiece

Each of the MultiRest’s bearing mounted, non-marring urethane wheels have a rigid internal ring to prevent sidewall flex, thus giving exceptional support while still being gentle on the workpiece. The MultiRest uses the same high strength industrial sealed bearings used in our time tested bandsaw upgrade guides, so they're not your typical skate wheel and bearing. The unit comes stock with 3 wheel assemblies, which is perfect for most tasks. These wheel assemblies can be positioned anywhere around the ring, and unlike any other steady rest on the market, you can add additional wheel assemblies as needed to give you any number of wheels around the ring (3,4, 6 etc..)

MultiRest™ Replacement Wheel

Single replacement wheel for MultiRest™ system. Each wheel replacement assembly includes two industrial quality sealed bearings, high quality, non-marring clear urethane wheel with rigid internal support for minimal lateral flex, axel and all hardware needed to attach the wheel to an existing support arm.

MultiRest™ add on Wheel Assembly

Add on wheel assembly to change the number of wheels on your MultiRest™. The stock unit comes with 3 wheel assemblies. This assembly allows you to add as many wheels as needed for your project. Each wheel assembly includes two industrial quality sealed bearings, high quality, non-marring clear urethane wheel with rigid internal support for minimal lateral flex, axel, armature extrusion, slide plate, quick release knobs and all hardware needed to attach to an existing MultiRest ring.
