Spur Drive Center

This spur center is ideal for mounting of irregular surfaces like uneven bowl blanks. The center can be easily positioned for the best stock penetration in the grains direction. The 2 Prong Spur is 1" in diameter with a spring loaded center point.The Savannah Spur Drive Centers have sharp spurs to give a strong bite into the wood. The drive center also features a spring-loaded center point that positions your spindle easily and avoid splitting your work when tailstock pressure is applied by retracting.
