Classic Chrome Style Bottle Stopper

After a long day its hard to think of a better way to unwind than enjoying a nice glass of wine. After having that glass the downside is you are left with the rest of the wine in the bottle wondering how in the world am I going to preserve this wine for later? The classic chrome bottle stoppers are made from a solid (not hollow) piece of metal material with a shiny, chrome plating. The stoppers have six protruding rubber seals that provide you with an airtight seal when preserving your wine! Not only that, each stopper has a 3/8" x 16 tpi threaded stud mounted on the top for attaching any custom handle you choose. This really sets off the stopper as a one of kind accessory for any wine lover or connoisseur. Each stopper measures approx. 57/64" at the top (wide end) of the bottle stopper. From top to bottom the stoppers measure approximately 3¼" (that includes the 3/8" x 16 threaded stud). You can use the bottle stoppers for sealing wine, champagne, soda (pop), oil, vinegar and more. Cleaning the stoppers couldn't be easier. Simply wash with warm soapy water or place them in the dishwasher.

Bottle Stopper Chuck & Drill Bit

Designed with the turner in mind. Thread your wooden blanks directly onto the chuck as opposed to using a bulky 4-jaw chuck. This method proves to be more cost effective and more efficient during the turning process. Many woodturners prefer turning their stopper blanks with this small, durable and compact design.

Bottle Stopper Chuck and Drill Bit

Creating a threaded hole on a bottle stopper blank using the bottle stopper typically is very difficult and produces so-so results. This kit is designed to make the threading of the wooden blank easier and provide a better fit for your 3/8" bottle stopper. The 3/8" x 16tpi thread size is a common size for bottle stopper threads. The drill bit is just the right size to allow the chuck post to cut the threads into the wooden blank and then pair up with the stopper.

Cut a threaded hole directly into your wooden blank and turn it without the hassle of a bulky jaw chuck!

This size chuck and drill bit are one of the most commonly used sizes for turning bottle stopper tops. Make sure you have the right size bottle stopper threads before purchasing. Your bottle stopper should have a 3/8” x 16tpi threaded stud and the widest part of your bottle stopper should be approximately 31/32” in diameter. The finished diameter of your bottle stopper top may vary depending on your final turned size you choose.
