Stronghold Chuck

This heavy duty chuck is designed for large lathes (16" swing or greater) to provide maximum gripping power! The body diameter of this chuck is 4½" (the largest currently available in our chuck family). The chuck weighs approximately 8 lbs (fully assembled with the No. 2 Jaws). It is considerably heavier than the Talon Chuck (3.5 lbs) or Oneway Chuck (4.5 lbs) which makes it a very desirable chuck for large size lathe owners who want an exceptionally powerful grip for turning larger pieces.

The Stronghold Chuck is operated by a key. Key operation provides two major advantages:

• One handed operation
• Solid holding power
• 5 to 1 ratio assures powerful clamping

Note: If your lathe is less than a 16" swing, we recommend our Talon Chuck.

Big Bite Chuck Spur

Oneway Chuck Spurs are available to mount directly into Chucks made by Oneway. At 3-3/4" diameter it easily drives pieces up to 24" in diameter but is safely contained inside the body diameter of even our smallest chuck. The spur has a 1" locating plug to center securely into the chuck and it is grabbed crosswise by the jaws for a secure hold. The teeth and point are 60 degrees so it will bite deeply and easily. It takes advantage of the holding power of the chuck, making it very economical.

Note: Chuck not included.

1/2" Chuck Spur

Oneway Chuck Spurs are available to mount directly into Chucks made by Oneway. Because of the direct mounting capability, it is unnecessary to remove the chuck from your lathe to do spindle work. The 1/2" Chuck Spur is great for turning spindles that are less than an inch in diameter. (ie. chair legs) Total length is of Spur is 3".

Oneway Chuck Spurs are available to mount directly into Chucks made by Oneway. Because of the direct mounting capability, it is unnecessary to remove the chuck from your lathe to do spindle work. The 1" Chuck Spur will work best for anything of an inch in diameter or larger. Total length is of Spur is 3".
