8" CBN Grinding Wheels

With the Ron Brown's Best 8" CBN Grinding Wheels you won't have to worry about dressing or shaping like typical aluminum oxide wheels. These wheels don't wear! The CBN wheels are machined from solid steel and are bonded with Cubic Boron Nitride (CBN). Use the CBN wheels for any sharpening projects, including; turning tools, chisels, plane irons and more. With the Ron Brown's Best 8" CBN Grinding Wheels you will achieve a super fine, sharp edge with polished bevel on either hardened tool steel or carbide.

The CBN Grinding Wheel comes 2 Grits:

• #9856 - 80 Grit
  8" x 1-1/2" width & 5/8" side sharpening and the bore opening is 5/8" in diameter.
• #9857 - 180 Grit
  8" x 1-1/2" width & 5/8" side sharpening and the bore opening is 5/8" in diameter.

Caution: CBN Grinding Wheels are designed to be used to sharpen hardened Steel or Carbide. Sharpening non-heat treated steel, aluminum or other soft metals will damage the CBN Grinding Wheel.

White Grinding Wheel

The white aluminum oxide is the standard for grinding cutting tools such as chisels and plane irons. Unlike the gray wheels that come with most bench grinders, these wheels help keep your tool much cooler so your tool doesn't overheat and weaken your cutting edge. After grinding, a few strokes on a bench stone and your tools are ready for use.
