Precision Router Table Top

This rugged MDF table top provides a solid, secure, and quiet routing solution for any workshop. A 1"-thick (25mm) MDF core provides a flat, solid top that absorbs vibrations, while steel reinforcing struts prevent sagging—even under the weight of heavy routers and lifts.

Low-Friction Easy-Slide™ Surface

Durable, high-pressure laminate skin offers a low-friction Easy-Slide™ surface, making it easy to slide workpieces across the surface. Thick edgebanding protects the top against bumps and abrasions. The top is predrilled for holes for Precision Insert-Plate Levelers.

Feature-Packed Insert Plate

A heavy-duty 3/8" x 91/4" x 113/4" (9mm x 235mm x 298mm) insert plate handles large routers with ease. Versatile Level-Loc Reducing Rings lock in level and flush with the plate surface with the included ring wrench. A brass starter pin ensures controlled bit contact during freehand routing. The laser-engraved target pattern on the underside of the plate ensures simple, accurate router centering and mounting. Four (4) included Precision Insert Plate Levelers keep plate and table top surfaces perfectly flush.

Versatile Combination Trak

This versatile table top works with standard (3/8" x 3/4") miter gauge guide bars. It also accepts Featherboards and other accessories, and is made from durable anodized aluminum.

Precision Bench Top Router Table

Rugged Table Top

The table top is made from an edgebanded, vibration- and noise-resistant MDF, and features an Easy-Slide™ Micro-Dot skin. The skin is constructed from a high-pressure laminate, which allows you to easily slide workpieces across the surface.

Precise Insert Plate

The Precision Router Table Insert Plate measures 3/8" x 9-1/4" x 11-3/4" to support even the biggest routers, and it features Kreg's new Level-Loc Reducing Rings. These rings twist into place and lock in flush with the plate surface every time. Three Level-Loc rings are included: 1", 13/16" (for use with Porter-Cable style guide bushings), and 2-1/8". More Level-Loc ring sizes are available in a set of 5 (sold separately). The plate also has laser-engraved markings on the underside that make it easy to mount any router, and it comes with a set of Kreg's Precision Insert Levelers.

Full-Featured Fence

The heavy-duty aluminum fence has been redesigned, too, with new quarter-turn locking levers. They allow quick fence adjustment and confident locking, plus are sized so they're easy to use but stay out of the way behind the fence. The fence also has independent sliding faces that provide increased workpiece support around the bit, and, with the use of the included jointing rods, allow the table to be used as a vertical jointer. A bit guard and a dust-collection port are also included.

Quiet Routing

During development, we found the majority of noise produced by benchtop router tables was caused by vibrations traveling through the body of the table, and that much of this noise could be muted by using the proper design and materials. By combining a noise-absorbing MDF table top with a rigid steel base and vibration-dampening rubber feet, our Precision Benchtop Router Table is incredibly quiet, and actually tests quieter than most enclosed router tables.

Multi-Purpose, Self-Squaring Router Table Fence System.

At the heart of the system is the Kreg®'s Precision Router Table Fence. This innovative, anodized-aluminum fence features a table saw-style T-Square adjustment system that ensures the fence will always stay parallel to the miter-gauge slot. The fence adjusts easily with just one hand, and locks firmly in place with dual locks: a large paddle lock on the infeed end, and a quarter-turn lock on the outfeed end that prevents fence deflection. To ensure exact positioning, the fence features a measuring scale that allows you to position the fence and make adjustments based on the bit you are using. An included micro-adjust wheel makes setups simple to ensure precision.

Built-In Dust Collection and Jointing Feature.

Independent sliding fence faces can be positioned exactly where needed to provide workpiece support close to the bit and to maximize chip collection into the fence's built-in dust port. Plus, two jointing rods are included. Just slide them into position behind the outfeed fence face, and the fence doubles as a jointer for putting perfect edges on boards.

High-Performance Precision Router Table Top.

The fence sits on Kreg®'s large, durable Precision Router Table Top. This 24" x 32" (609mm x 813mm) table has a 1"-thick (25mm) MDF core that absorbs vibration and offers mass to help create a stable router table. A tough Easy-Slide™ surface, made from high-pressure laminate, helps workpieces glide easily. Underneath, steel-reinforcing struts ensure that the table will stay flat to provide years of dependable service. A keyhole slot in the table accepts the quarter-turn fence lock, and allows the fence to be removed easily for freehand routing operations. In addition, the table comes equipped with a combination miter-gauge/T-track to accept a miter gauge and other accessories. Four (4) included Precision Insert-Plate Levelers keep plate and table top surfaces perfectly flush.

Heavy-Duty, Easily-Adjustable Steel Stand.

To make routing even easier, the table and fence sit atop a heavy-duty stand. Made from heavy-gauge steel, the stand can be adjusted from 29" to 35" (736mm to 889mm) high, and has levelers to compensate for uneven floors. Plus, the stand has predrilled holes that make it easy to mount accessories and to customize the stand.

Precision Router Table Plate with Level-Loc Rings

This rugged 3/8"-thick phenolic insert plate is designed to provide a solid, flat, and perfectly level mounting surface for your router. Measuring 91/4" x 113/4", it will accept almost any router (even large, heavy models) with ease. The plate is equipped with our Level-Loc Reducing Rings that allow you to easily change the size of the opening around the router bit. These rings simply twist into place using an included ring wrench to lock in level and flush with the plate surface. The plate comes with three Level-Loc Rings: 1", 13/16" (for use with universal-style guide bushings), and 25/8".

Undrilled and Predrilled Plates

The Precision Router Table Insert Plate is available in three versions, so you can choose the one that best suits your needs.

Undrilled (4857):

This plate comes without any predrilled mounting holes. Alignment marks engraved on the underside make it easy to center and mount any router using the detailed instructions that are included with the plate.

Predrilled for Triton (4855):

This plate comes with predrilled holes and mounting hardware to fit Triton M0F001 and TRA001 Routers. With modification, the hole pattern also works with the Porter-Cable 7500 Series.

Predrilled for Porter-Cable and Bosch (4856):

This plate comes with predrilled holes and mounting hardware to fit the Porter-Cable 690 and 890 Series, along with the Bosch 1617.

Level Lock Rings 5 Piece Set

This five-piece set of Level-Loc Reducing Rings fits the Kreg Precision Router Table Insert Plate, as well as Precision Router Table Lift, allowing you to customize the size of the opening around the bit. The set includes rings with 3/4", 13/8", 15/8", and 21/8" openings, plus one "blank" ring that you can use to create your own custom-sized or zero-clearance ring. The set comes with a molded storage tray that has slots to hold all five Level-Loc Reducing Rings, plus slots to hold the three rings that come with the Precision Router Table Insert Plate or Precision Router Table Lift. Each slot is marked with the opening size, making it easy to keep the rings organized.
