Plunge Saw and 62" Guide Track

At the heart of the Adaptive Cutting System Master Kit is the Plunge Saw and 62" Guide Track. The track guides the saw precisely on your cutline and protects against splintering to ensure that you get straight, smooth cuts. The Plunge Saw features a fully-shrouded blade, plus safety features like a retractable riving knife and anti-kickback protection that allow the powerful, variable-speed motor to cut safely while your hands stay well away from the blade.

Mounting the Guide Track to the Project Table takes track-saw cutting to a higher level by creating a portable cutting system that adapts to your needs. The Project Table folds to store vertically, and easily rolls out and sets up quickly for use, then stows away compactly. Plunge Saw and Guide Track Kit

Discover the advantages of track-saw cutting with the Adaptive Cutting System Saw + Guide Track Kit. This kit includes the Adaptive Cutting System Plunge Saw and the 62" Guide Track to provide everything needed to make straight, accurate, smooth, and splinter-free cuts in plywood, other sheet goods, and in solid-wood boards. The Saw + Guide Track Kit provides the unparalleled control and precision of a track saw with a cutting capacity up to 50". This makes precision cutting as easy as laying the 62" Guide Track where you want to cut, and then guiding the saw along.

incredible Versatility

The Plunge Saw is incredibly versatile, with 2 1/8" maximum cutting depth from the included 48-tooth, carbide-tipped blade, plus bevel-cutting capability from -1° to 47°. With a 12-amp motor, the Plunge Saw delivers power to cut through even thick hardwoods. Variable-speed provides more control, while an electronic blade brake stops the blade quickly at the end of the cut. Anti-kickback control provides increased safety. An included dust port and bag collect chips to minimize cutting mess and provide the ability to connect to a vacuum hose.

The Adaptive Cutting System 62" Guide Track is made from durable but lightweight aluminum, and it features an anti-chip strip along the cutting edge that prevents splintering. Anti-slip strips on the underside of the track hold the track in place without clamps. Glide strips on top guide the saw smoothly. The track features a zero-offset design that aligns the edge of the track exactly with the cutline to ensure accurate positioning. A cord manager helps guide the saw cord, as well as a dust-collection hose if the saw is connected to a shop vacuum.

The Adaptive Cutting System Saw + Guide Track Kit can be used as a standalone track saw for versatile, precise cutting. You can also connect a second 62" Guide Track for 112" of track-saw cutting capacity. Optional Rip Guides and Parallel Guides (sold separately) can be used with the Plunge Saw + Guide Track Kit to provide integrated measuring and track positioning. The Adaptive Cutting System Saw + Guide Track Kit can also be mounted to the Adaptive Cutting System Project Table to create a multiuse cutting system. This expands capability beyond ordinary track saws, so you can rip and crosscut solid wood, cut miters and tapers, and support sheet goods easily and confidently while you cut.

Take Guided Cutting to the next level and create an all-in-one cutting system by pairing the Adaptive Cutting System Plunge Saw + Guide Track Kit (ACS2000) with this Project Table Kit. The kit includes the Project Table Top, plus the Project Table Base. Mounting the Guide Track to the Project Table allows you to crosscut and rip solid wood boards, cut mitered angles, bevel edges, plus support and precisely cut plywood and large panels to size. The Project Table Top includes multiple guides, stops, and integrated measuring systems that position your materials securely and precisely, so you get accurate, smooth, and straight cuts every time.

Constructed from heavy-gauge steel, the Project Table Base is built for durability. Positive locking supports keep the legs open, while catches hold everything in place against the underside of the table during storage or transport. When folded, the base and table stand upright for compact storage. Adjustable leg levelers allow you to position the Project Table at multiple heights, and keep it steady on uneven floors.

Rip Guides make guided cutting even easier, and they eliminate the hassle and potential inaccuracies of measuring and marking every cut.

Adaptive Cutting System Parallel Guides

Precision measuring guides to straight, wide track-saw cuts in plywood consistently and easily
Parallel Guides attach quickly and easily to the Adaptive Cutting System 62" Guide Track to provide accurate measurement and material stops when making cuts from 12" to 96" wide in solid wood, plywood, and other sheet goods. Parallel Guides make guided cutting even easier, and they eliminate the potential inaccuracies of measuring and marking every cut.

Parallel Guides attach to the 62" Guide Track, and have precision measuring tapes that extend for cuts from 12" to 96" wide. Heavy-duty brakes lock measurements in to enable making one or many cuts at the exact width without having to measure and mark the workpiece.

Simply lock in the measurement desired, place the 62" Guide Track on the material, and position it so the hook on the end of each Parallel-Guide measuring tape contacts the edge of the material. Then make the cut. The Guide Track stays in place on the material, while the Parallel Guides position the material precisely.
