Abranet by Mirka is a revolutionary new sanding material for dust-free sanding. Sanding Mouse Mini Abrasive Sheets

Using these strips along with a Sanding Mouse Mini you’ll be able to work those tight hard to reach spots with ease

Free Hand Sanding without Wasting Full Sheets!

No more cutting up your expensive 9x11 sheets of sandpaper. Simply use one of these littles sheets for those tight curves and hard to reach areas! The strips are a little over 3-1/2” long and a little over 1” wide and can also be used without the Sanding Mouse Mini to get into extra tight spots. They can also be used on other sanding devices that accept hook and loop sandpaper and fall into the same size parameter.

× Micro-Mesh®

Starter Kit

Micro-Mesh is a unique cushioned abrasive capable of giving very fine & very controlled scratch patterns. The grits range from 1500 to 12000. The 1500 is slightly more coarse than a conventional 600 grit sandpaper & the 12000 will leave scratch patterns that cannot be detected by the human eye. Micro-Mesh abrasives can polish to an optically clear, reflective state or through the use of a more coarse grit, leave a matte or satin finish. Excellent product to use as a final rub for water-based finishes. This kit is designed for craftsmen to replace the use of steel wool, rottenstone, or pumice. May be used on bare or finished wood. An excellent way to spot match finishes. Can be used wet or dry to achieve matte, satin, or high gloss finishes.

When Applying Multiple Coats...

MicroMesh performs very well in conjunction with polyurethane, polyester, epoxy, lacquer and so on. Follow the manufacturer’s recommended cure times prior to re-coating or applying the finish coat. When you are applying multiple coats, sand from 1500 Micro-Mesh to 3200 or 3600 between coats to remove any orange-peel or dirt. After the final coat has fully cured, polish the surface beginning with 2400 Micro-Mesh and continue through the series (3200-12000) until the desired gloss is achieved.

Satin finishes

Satin finishes are achieved by sanding up to the 3600 grade. The satin finish gets progressively higher in gloss through the 6000 step. High gloss finishes will appear by the 6000 through 12000 step. The wood, the finish used and personal preference determine where to stop. Micro-Gloss liquid abrasive can be hand rubbed onto the finish following the 12000 Micro-Mesh step for an “ultra” high gloss finish.

Birthed in the auto body industry, this excellent hand sanding block is made from high impact ABS plastic (it won't break if you drop it), it's comfortable contoured shape fits the hand extremely well, and it has great heft. The superb design of its all stainless steel clip mechanism is one of the fastest and easiest to use. It requires little sandpaper to attach (cutting sandpaper waste), you can load multiple sheets at a time, and it won't ever rust. Use wet/dry paper a lot? The block floats in a bucket of water, allowing built-up particles float away. Colored blocks make it easy to assign different block to each grit. 9" x 11" Wet / Dry Sanding Sheets

Mirka’s 9” x 11” wet-dry sheets are a durable product very well suited for all types of sanding chores either wet or dry. The semi-open grit binding and special stearate coating is designed to prevent clogging and pill forming. Grits from 220 to 320 are aluminum oxide for sanding putty, removing lacquer or paints and more. Grits from 400 to 1500 are a silicone carbide grit and are suitable for finer sanding chores like sanding between coats, finish coats and lacquer.

Wet / Dry 9" x 11" Sanding Sheet

Super-Fine Wet/Dry - Excellent for developing a high level of finish (matte, satin, gloss or high gloss). 2000 Grit is especially good for touch-up repairs on finishes. The wet dry sheets create an exceptionally smooth surface. Can be used dry, or with oil or water. To increase sanding flexibility, soak your sheet in water for 15 minutes prior to use. Keeping your sheets wet will greatly increase the sanding life of your sheets and improve the finish of your work piece. The wet dry sheets come in 5 sheets per pack.

Glass Plate Sharpening Kit

When sharpening your tools, one of the biggest challenges is to find a truly flat surface. Another challenge is finding a jig or tool holder to keep your tool edge at its current existing angle. The Fulton Glass Plate Sharpening System is the perfect solution to both of these issues and better yet, the system includes 4 different grits of sticky back (PSA) sandpaper to help you create the perfect cutting edge! With the super smooth, tempered glass plate that measures 9 7/8” wide x 11 13/16” long and a full 5/16” thick, you’ll be able to sharpen the vast majority of tools in your workshop. The Fulton glass plate is the perfect size to place 4 different grit sheets of sandpaper on it (two grits per side). This allows you to begin your honing process at a coarser grit and progressively step your way up to a finer grit for that perfect edge.

Easy to Apply, Easy to use

Included along with the glass plate is the super handy aluminum honing guide. The guide can hold blades, chisels or plane irons up to 3 1/16” in width and approximately 1/8” thick. The aluminum honing guide features an easy to adjust knob for tool width and an extra wide roller to make rolling the guide across the glass plate super smooth. This style of honing guide is one of the most popular style of honing guides available due to its ease of use and overall simplicity.

To properly hone your tools, you need an abrasive material. While you could always use an expensive wet stone or an even more expensive diamond stone, the Fulton Glass Plate Sharpening System utilizes traditional sandpaper to achieve the same result at a fraction of the cost. Apply the included silicone carbide, wet/dry 4 1/2” x 11” sticky back sheets to the plate glass in grit order make quick work of honing your workshop tools. Includes 2 ea. of the following grits: 800, 1200, 1500 and 2000.

This sharpening system also includes a black rubber mat that is designed to help keep the glass plate from sliding while you sharpen your tools and accessories. The mat is cut to be slightly larger than the glass plate. It can be used over and over again and when it gets too much build up of dirt and debris, simply clean it with warm soapy water
