Made from a super lightweight composite material the Sanding Mouse Mini is perfect for prolonged sanding sessions. The sander is ergonomically shaped for an extra comfortable grip that fits right into the palm of your hand.The narrow slope allows you to place just the right amount of pressure as needed with your index finger. It's soft enough and forgiving enough to handle concave and convex surfaces. This makes it perfect for a wide variety of sanding applications.

50 Strips of High Quality Gold Hook and Loop Backed Sandpaper

The Sanding Mouse Mini comes with 50 strips of high quality gold hook and loop backed sandpaper. Each strip is cut to size so it can be applied and removed as needed. Adding a strip is as simple as placing the hook and loop backing of the strip on to the Sanding Mouse Mini and pressing into place. Removing a strip is just as easy. Simply pull the strip off by grabbing a corner and pulling the strip off. It literally takes seconds to change out strips of sandpaper! Made with premium "P" grade aluminum oxide abrasives, this sandpaper is ideal for most any sanding application. This grade of sand paper helps create a consistent "scratch" pattern and smoother final finish. For optimal results, we recommend starting with the lower grits first and stepping up to the finer grits. This method helps produce very clean, smooth finished surfaces every-time! The sandpaper strips are clearly marked with the grit on the back for easy identification.

Abrasive Cleaning Eraser Stick

Sanding most anything is a chore that we all don't typically care to do. To make things worse, the sandpaper seems to become useless just after a few strokes. What if you could rejuvenate your sandpaper so you could get a whole lot more mileage out of it? Now you can with our natural rubber cleaning eraser stick! Simply rub the stick across the abrasive surface and watch the dust, crud, resin and natural build up disappear!

Clean, Restore, Rejuvenate...
(only just for abrasive materials of course)

Designed to loosen and remove sawdust, dirt, debris and general build up from abrasive surfaces, the abrasive cleaning stick is going to be one of your most commonly used cleaning tools in your home workshop. The natural rubber cleaning eraser stick removes most all of the residue. If you have power sanders like belt sanders you can simply hold the stick up against the sanding belt while the power is on and watch the belt be cleaned right before your eyes!

Restore Sanding Belts

Clean various items around the house, workshop or in the garage. Many skateboards typically have a grip tape or grip surface applied to the top surface to help keep your feet in place. This of course gets dirty rather quickly. Rinsing it off kinda works but doesn't get all of the build up. Our eraser stick does the trick and makes cleaning the board a breeze. The natural rubber cleaning eraser stick also works exceptionally well on skateboard grip surfaces. Once clean, the skateboard surface is almost as good as new and keeps its grip a whole lot longer. Similar to skateboard grip surfaces, abrasive or grip tape that's used on floor areas that can get slippery can be easily cleaned using the eraser stick.

When you need to finish sand the inside of your wood turned bowl it can be a challenge to keep the wood from showing scuff marks. Using a piece of hand held sandpaper can also be somewhat dangerous. Our bowl sander essentially fixes this issue by having a dual bearing, smooth rotating head that spins with the rotation of the bowl while the bowl is rotating on the lathe. The 9 inch long handle also helps keep your hands out of harms way.

Adjustable Head Assembly

The adjustable head assembly of our bowl sander allows you to find the perfect angle for your project. Equipped with two steel bearings, this curved sanding tool ensures smooth mandrel rotation, minimizing the risk of marking your wood. Our bowl sanding kits are excellent wood lathe sanding tools!

Most handled bowl sanders have maybe one bearing or no bearing at all on the head assembly. This means you will achieve much better results finishing your project using our Dual Bearing Bowl Sander

One of the keys to properly using these types of sanders, is to keep the tool moving while sanding on a rotating wood lathe. This ensures that the sander doesn't over heat or mistakenly mark you wood. Included with the sander are full color instructions that help guide you with the correct techniques and proper way to use the sander to achieve the best results possible.

It's All About the Touch...

When your project is rotating on your lathe, its already creating friction without touching it. When you start sanding, your essentially doubling the amount of friction and more since the sandpaper grit creates its own friction. When using the bowl sander its all about the touch when sanding on your lathe. Lightly touch the sander to the rotating bowl using the bottom of the sanding disc. Work your way from the rim or lip of your project to the center of the bowl. Once you get the hang of it, you'll be producing wonderfully finished projects in no time!

Have a Favorite Sander with 1/4" Mandrel?

A unique feature is that you can easily swap out sanders by simply loosening the set screw on the main brass bushing. Once loose, you can remove the original sander and either use a different diameter sander or a sander with a 1/4" mandrel that you feel comfortable with. We have included the hex key wrench and an extra short bushing that is used for shorter length sander mandrels.

Over the years we noticed many, many customers complaining about the grits in a lot of kits are almost impossible to tell apart. While it is rather difficult to mark each disc clearly on either side, we decided to package each grit in packs of 10 with the grit clearly marked for you to identify each grit in seconds!

Sanding bowls on your lathe doesn't have to be difficult or tedious. The Savannah Adjustable Bowl Sanding System makes bowl sanding easier, quicker and will improve your end result. The unique rotating head is driven by the rotation of your workpiece and your fingers will never contact the workpiece, The foam hook and loop faced pad conforms to the shape of your turning so the abrasive disc always stays in contact with the bowl profile. This makes the Heavy Duty Contour Sander perfect to us on small bowls, large bowls, platters, hardwoods, softwoods, and on the inside or outside of bowls. The head can be swapped out between 2" or 3" size.

Sandmaster

An extremely handy addition to any turner's armoury, the Sandmaster is used in conjunction with a lathe to put a fine finish on turned pieces. It eliminates the unsightly lines often associated with traditional hand sanding. As the disc is spinning it also reduces the clogging of the abrasive. The Sandmaster comes complete with a velcro covered 2" sponge pad which allows for the easy changing of abrasive discs. A variety of grits - from 60 - 400 - of aluminium oxide disc can then be quickly attached. The adjustable head which runs on a durable phospor bronze bushing lets the turner reach even the more inaccessable spots. As an optional extra, a 3" head and discs can be easily fitted for greater efficiency. The Sandmaster becomes an even more versatile tool when the head is removed and replaced by a pigtail mandrel and goblet or bowl mop. Made of fine grade cotton these mops are an ideal medium for buffing waxes and other finishes.

Soft Sander™ Kit

Soft-Sanders have been designed to sand almost any shape encountered in automotive, home improvement, marine and woodworking applications. Designed to use adhesive-backed sandpaper, they work great with non-adhesive wet or dry sandpaper. The blocks virtually eliminate gouging; are super lightweight, offering zero fatigue; glide over varying surface levels; and are resistant to most solvents.
